Yep, nice to see some are getting lucky!

EDIT - Ok, after spending nearly an hour chasing about, trying to get some clarification from parcelfarce, HM customs & excise AND the international hub, I think I may have found the root cause of RSOV parcels being held.

I have been told that my parcel has no pricing information, ie, a value of the goods anywhere on it. Without this, parcels won't be released until a form CP160 has been issued, filled in and returned. Then duty can be calculated, I can pay it and set a delivery date. I'd advise anyone ordering from RSOV to specifically ask for a value declaration to be included with the package and, hopefully avoid all of this nonsense so many of us are experiencing.

A couple of things;

First my last parcel to come from gunner via parcelfarce arrived in the country on the 29th August and immediately went to status Awaiting Custom Charges and stayed there until the 5th September and I recieved notification of the charges through the post on the 7th September, so Barcelona if it takes as long for yours to clear it may be the end of this week or the begining of next before you hear anything.

Secondly as I have said before anyone planning to order anymore guns, go to gunner, (he's virtually always cheaper than RSOV), and have them shipped via TNT because TNT don't hold the parcel while working out the Duty and/or Tax payable, they just deliver it and send you an invoice later.

For example I ordered 8 guns from gunner on the 31st August and the first attempt to deliver the parcel was on the 5th September, pretty good going :D

Though conversely, i went specifically with RSOV this time as my last parcel from Gunner got sent surface mail and took five weeks to get here, and Gunner's automated postage pricing system couldn't cope with the weight of guns i was ordering this time, and took over a week to reply to me with a cost for postage, by which time i'd thought he didn't want the £500 and so i went to RSOV.

i think it's just a case of swings and roundabouts with both of them

Got my C160 today too. I've put a copy of the invoice AND a velocity declaration in with it as well, just to be safe and avoid any more possible delays!

Small Progress,

Received customs form C160 in the post today so they can figure out how much to charge my RSOV order. No sign of my Dennison from Sanjay yet. :cry:

I've ordered a little MP5K for some urban CQB I like doing every so often... Left HK on the 5th and nothing since. The mags I ordered separately are here though. Playing again next week and will have to use a renter or lug my Tommy all the way to London :(

No change on the RSOV tracker but today the letter from the local hub arrived... 10 days after the parcel reached them :(
Filled in and posted the paperwork tonight. Anyone got an idea how long it takes them to send your stuff out?

If you track the parcel online, you can go and collect from your depot the day it gets there - 3 bits of ID and yer wallet... no need to wait for the letter...

So do the Customs people pass the package onto Royal Mail? Do they ethn deliver or do I need to get it from my RM depot? How long do Customs take to do their thing?

This is a total pain as I ordered the gun well in advance for some CQB next week. Now I have a stack of mags but no gun :(
